Dossongui is a French-qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA – France) with over six years of experience leading audit and advisory engagements across multiple sectors, including Telecommunications, Energy, Agro-industry, Construction, and Microfinance.

Since 2019, he has served as Audit Engagement Senior at CI-Excelsior, where he was responsible for risk assessments, drafting tailored audit programs, supervising audit teams, and delivering final audit reports and recommendations to clients. He plays a key role in planning and executing statutory audits, internal control reviews, and special advisory assignments. His leadership has contributed to high-impact missions, such as the IT audit of MTN Côte d’Ivoire and training workshops for accountants at the Ivorian Refining Company (SIR).

Prior to this, he worked as a Business Analyst at Filtisac SA, supporting budgeting, cost control, and ERP optimization projects (Microsoft Dynamics NAV). He also gained experience as a financial audit intern at KPMG, participating in due diligence and audit assignments for clients in the construction and non-profit sectors.

Dossongui holds the French national Chartered Accountancy Diploma (DEC) and is currently pursuing the FMVA® – Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst certification with the Corporate Finance Institute. He also holds the DSCG and DSGC from INTEC-CNAM (France).

Kareemat is a legal practitioner with over six years of experience in corporate legal advisory. She currently supports Sahel Capital’s investment activities by ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risks, and assisting with transaction structuring and execution.

Her experience covers corporate governance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and non-interest finance.

Before joining Sahel Capital as Legal and Compliance Manager, Kareemat was a Senior Associate in the Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Private Equity practice at Aluko & Oyebode, a leading Nigerian law firm, where she worked on major transactions involving multinational companies and financial institutions, providing legal support on corporate restructuring, capital raising, and complex finance matters.

Kareemat holds an LL.B (Second Class Upper) from Usmanu Danfodiyo University and a Bar Qualification Certificate with First Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School.

Chukwuka is an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) professional with over a decade of hands-on experience. In this role, he has led and participated in numerous environmental and social sustainability projects across various sectors, including Power, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Construction, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Financial, and FMCG throughout Africa.

Prior to joining Sahel Capital in 2023, he had served as the Head of Susty People Practice at Environmental Accord, a leading sustainability consulting firm in Africa.

Prince is an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) professional with over five years work experience. In this role, he has led and participated in many environmental and social studies of development projects, Including Water Supply, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Industry, Power, Road, Financial and Sustainability in Côte d’Ivoire.

Prior to joining Sahel Capital in 2024, he had served as the Environmental and Social Manager at Valency International Trading.

He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from Nangui Abrogoua University, Côte d’Ivoire.

Modupe is a finance professional with over 10 years of work experience.

Before joining Sahel Capital, she worked with CardinalStone Partners Limited, where she spent seven (7) years performing core accounting functions before transitioning into investment banking and financial advisory roles. She brings strong expertise in finance operations, treasury management and financial reporting, complemented by hands-on experience in financial analysis, valuation, and transaction support.

Modupe is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a CFA Level II Candidate. She holds an academic background in Accounting.

Johnson manages daily office operations at the Sahel Capital office in Lagos. In this role, he provides essential support for all teams and ensures seamless coordination of activities within the office.

Johnson has a degree in Accounting from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
