Annpatliz Mwihaki
Annpatliz Mwihaki is a Sustainability and ESG professional with 8 years of experience across public and private sectors in East, Sub-Saharan, and West Africa, working within food and agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, trade, and sustainable finance. She focuses on ESG due diligence, ESMS development, environmental policy design, ESG integration, and capacity building. She has supported impact funds backed by Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) in agriculture and renewable energy, and worked with SMEs, Financial Institutions, and Corporates across Africa on ESG risk assessment and integration.
Previously, she worked at SLR Consulting EA as an Environmental & Social (E&S) Consultant, providing advisory services across a range of ESG and sustainability assignments across a diverse range of sectors, as well as at Samawati Capital Partners as a Senior Sustainability Analyst, where she led ESG integration and risk analysis across East, West, and Sub-Saharan Africa. She has also delivered ESG training in 8 countries across Africa, Asia, and South America under ITCILO programmes and worked with the Federation of Kenyan Employers (FKE) to deliver ESG training to its members.
She holds a BSc in Environmental Science from Kisii University and has completed several ESG-related certifications, including World Bank E&S Risk Management, UNEP Environmental and Social Risk Assessment (ESRA) for FIs, ITCILO Human Rights and Labour Standards, and Impact Measurement and Management.
